Title:         Food: What's Really in Your Trolley?
Description:   Current affairs series. Morland Sanders investigates the
criminal gangs moving into the food business, the profits
that can be made by substituting fake foods, and how the
authorities are struggling to battle the rising tide of food
fraud. Dispatches joins raids to close down a meat processor
accused of trading illegally, and shows how, despite the
meat adulteration scandal of 2013, some people are still
trying to slip horse meat into the food chain using forged
               documents

unsuspecting customers, showing how vulnerable we are to
both legitimate and shifty sales techniques. The first
episode reveals the truth about a bizarre beauty technique,
how shops use smelly trickery that literally gets up your
nose, and the dangerous trade in counterfeit hair
               straighteners

Title:         Food Prices: The Shocking Truth
Description:   Jimmy Doherty goes on a global journey to find out why food
prices have been rising. Taking some weekly shop essentials,
he discovers that the cost of food reflects some of the big
challenges of the 21st century, from the rise of Asia to the
power of the financial markets, and from growing population
to volatile weather. In six years the price of an average
food basket has gone up by 25%. In the UK we import half of
our food, which makes us extremely vulnerable to volatile
prices. In this first episode Jimmy looks at some of the
main staples in our food basket and the world events that
have affected their price, including British favourites
rice, beef and bread; and he examines our shrinking
               chocolate bars
Broadcast:     18 Mar 2014, 21:00 (60 mins)

Title:         The Hotel Inspector
Episode:       Green Man Pub & Hotel, Wembley
Description:   Reality series in which Alex Polizzi tries to transform some
of Britain's ailing hotels. The Green Man pub and hotel in
Wembley is just a stone's throw away from one of the
country's biggest draws for sports fans, but bad reviews and
old-fashioned bedrooms are putting off guests and forcing
the owner to rely on the pub to support the hotel. Can Alex
tackle the opposition and take this hotel to the next
league, or is The Green Man ready for relegation?
