Title: Dragons' Den
Description: Another set of hopeful entrepreneurs pitch to the
multimillionaire investors. John Buni pitches his modern
take on tailoring, which uses a laser body scanner to
collect measurements for bespoke suits, and a father and son
duo showcase a plastic vest to help gym-goers lose weight as
they work up a sweat. Plus, a website venture supplying
vehicle accessories, and serial inventor Solvej Biddle's
latest creation - a backpack that converts into a travel
play-kit for children

Title: The North on a Plate
Description: Paris-based cultural historian Andrew Hussey follows his
success with France on a Plate by travelling back to his
homeland, the north west of England, in search of its lost
food culture. He brings with him the French idea of terroir
- a belief that a food from a particular area is rendered
unique though a particular set of local circumstances
including culture and landscape. Andrew asks if this
highbrow foodie term can be applied to common northern grub
such as a Blackpool chip or a Wigan pie

Title: E Numbers: an Edible Adventure
Episode: Sweeteners
Description: Food writer Stefan Gates continues his quest to uncover the
truth about those notorious food additives, E numbers. He
looks at E number sweeteners used to replace sugar and also
learns about the chemicals used to hold our food together.
Stefan looks at how E numbers keep the ice out of ice cream,
discovers the seaweed that's an E number found in our cakes,
and even undergoes MRI scans in an attempt to discover
whether E number sweeteners are clever enough to fool our
brains.

Title: How The Mighty Have Fallen
Description: Four-part series in which Dr Hilary Jones explores the
history of obesity. 4: Hilary examines pills, potions and
quackery. In conversation with Professor David Haslam of the
National Obesity Forum he peruses a collection of weird and
wonderful historic remedies, including the 'King of
Corpulency Cures'. He hears about the dire consequences of
some of the more dangerous remedies, and asks what we can
learn from the past; will there ever be a miracle obesity
cure? Other contributors include pharmacist Dr Terry Maguire
and leading obesity expert Professor Stephan Rossner of the
Karolinska Institute in Sweden
